Most of the innovation in the fashion industry has been around mass customization, crowdsourcing, merchandising and marketing. ULTRA, a company committed to design and made to unite sustainability with leading fashion has released a line where a 10 piece wardrobe is designed to last a year through mixing and matching the respective components. Some fashion companies such as the GAP are struggling and could use some innovative collections along the lines of ULTRA. While this line is for women and everyday wear, it would be great to see this expanded into a mens’ line and different purposes such as athletic gear.
